An Employee Assistance Program that Benefits Everyone

CONCERN Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a workplace benefit designed to help employees affected by personal issues such as stress, health problems, marital issues, family difficulties, financial challenges, emotional stress, addiction and other problems that may be affecting their work productivity. We provide a professional, cost-effective service that helps companies support, retain and reinvigorate employees using our growing network of licensed, experienced counselors.
Three decades of service
For more than 30 years, CONCERN EAP has been helping companies and their employees get better and be more productive. Today we cover more than 80,000 employees and their families. Through our five Memphis area locations and one in Jackson, Miss., we serve a wide range of companies in the Mid-South region with employees based both locally and throughout the U.S. With our expanding network of more than 500 counselors in all 50 states, help is always nearby.
Solution-focused help to put your employees back on track
CONCERN Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling is based on the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) counseling theory developed by Steve de Shazer and Kim Berg in the late 1970s. SFBT entails using future focused, goal-oriented counseling techniques by developing clear, concise and realistic goals. Our EAP counselors help identify immediate, short-term solutions to any life problems your employees may be facing while focusing on using their strengths to problem-solve moving forward. A common misconception is that EAP counseling is only for workplace problems, and this is not the case. Our counselors are trained to address many issues one may be facing, whether it is work related or personal difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems, impulse control, parenting, communication skills, grief and more.
Effective and convenient
Using CONCERN EAP’s services is easy. Counselors are available 24 hours a day, and all it takes is a couple of clicks or a phone call to schedule an appointment. The counselor will remain available to the clients until they feel their difficulties are under control, or get specialized help if necessary. And as an affordable employee benefit, our services are available at absolutely no cost to the employee. The service is also available to anyone who lives with the employee, at no additional cost.
Professional, compassionate care
Our staff of counselors and clinical social workers must meet educational, professional and performance standards to be part of the CONCERN network, including at least a graduate degree and three years’ experience in a clinical setting. We are constantly searching for talented, qualified counselors to join our network and expand our services for the benefit of our clients and their employees.
Your partner in good health
Whether you are an employee who needs some help, an employer looking to attract and retain top talent, or an affiliate provider interested in expanding your business and resources, CONCERN EAP can be your dynamic, cost-effective partner in improving employees’ emotional wellbeing, strengthening companies’ bottom lines, and growing counselors’ practices.
Equal Opportunity
CONCERN EAP is an equal employment opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination based on an individual's race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, sex, age, handicap, disability (physical, visual or mental), creed, marital and veteran status, genetic information or any other category protected by federal or state law, with respect to all aspects of the employment process, including recruitment, selection, placement, promotion, wages, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
